Veteran Scholarships

In honor of Veterans Day, Charter Real Estate School is happy to announce a new partnership with veteran-centric Non-profit Vets2Reps.  The organization was created to give transitioning service men and women an option to embark on a journey down a real estate career path.  To celebrate this partnership, Charter is announcing the Cesar Guerra Veterans Scholarship, to be awarded to 4 veterans, who will have free access to the Charter online real estate pre-licensing course as well as help finding a place in a real estate brokerage. 

The scholarship is named for the Director of Vets2Reps, Cesar Guerra, a former Marine and lifelong friend of the founder of Charter Real Estate School, Derek Hall.  The scholarship is co-sponsored by NYC real estate attorney, Ryan J. Walsh, Esq.  Hall, Guerra, and Walsh all grew up in Queens and have close ties to the military.

Ryan Walsh is excited to participate in this scholarship program, because he sees it as a great opportunity to show support for the brave veterans who severed honorably and call New York City their home.

“I was inspired when I saw the Vets2Reps video that Cesar shared with me and immediately knew that this was something I wanted to share in,” said Derek.  “It was serendipitous timing that we could get everything done just in time for Veterans Day.”
